The EBMT Annual Meeting is the most important annual event for research and education in the field of bone marrow transplantation in Europe.
Attendance levels at EBMT Annual Meetings have grown significantly over recent years and it now attracts more than 4,000 participants, including international experts, scientists, physicians, nurses, statisticians, clinical research technicians, patients and, for the first time in 2012, processing laboratory personnel.
The scientific programme includes symposia, educational sessions and workshops covering the key issues relating to bone marrow and stem cell transplantation.
The meeting officially opens on Sunday evening, leaving the Sunday programme open for Satellite Symposia. Complementing the other sessions, these events have become very popular and are attended by a large number of participants. The close professional relationship between EBMT and its sponsors and collaborators add real value to the meeting, with tangible benefits for all attendees.
