CLINT Project website goes live
|
The CLINT Steering Committee is delighted to announce the launch of the new CLINT project website which offers a comprehensive overview of the CLINT project, including in-depth information on the project’s work packages, deliverables and timelines, as well as a general introduction to the project, the stakeholders and a number of features conducive to information exchange for those involved in the project (calendar, document management, management report templates, etc.)
The website has been created using Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 and will be developed into a more complex portal aimed at researchers in the field of Stem Cell Transplantation (SCT). It will incorporate key resources on data management, clinical trials and statistical analysis, and will link information held in different databases into one data management system storing relevant data on clinical trials in SCT.
A large volume of user analysis has already been carried out to ascertain the requirements of the portal and it is hoped that this information will enable us to create a portal structure that meets researchers’ needs head on.
Henk Jan der Wijk and Watze Hoekstra at the EBMT Clinical Trials & Study Office in Leiden are to be congratulated for their work in creating this initial website and basic portal structure and we wish them continued success in developing the portal functionality over the next 6 months.
The CLINT portal is a deliverable under Work Package 4 of the project: (WP4 D17) |
